veloxquant_mlx.transforms.base module¶

Base interface re-export for the transforms subpackage.

Re-exports Transform, the abstract forward/inverse interface (defined in core.abstractions) that concrete transforms such as RecursivePolarTransform implement.

Abstract base class for invertible vector transforms (used by PolarQuant).

abstractmethod forward(x)[source]¶

Apply the forward transform.

Parameters:: x (Any) – Input array of shape (batch, d).
Return type:: TransformResult
Returns:: TransformResult encapsulating all intermediate and final values.

abstractmethod inverse(result)[source]¶

Apply the inverse transform to reconstruct the original vector.

Parameters:: result (TransformResult) – TransformResult from a prior forward() call.
Return type:: Any
Returns:: Reconstructed array of shape (batch, d).
